Thank you and Writing for Children

Thank you everyone, for all your great comments last Friday. I think L-Plate author mentioned that we should sell a collection of tips. What about doing it for charity? I think PayPal can be set up to send donations directly to a charity. Shall we have a think about it over the next couple of months?

I'm also forwarding to you, an email from the lovely Kathryn at Cornerstones - www.cornerstones.co.uk. She and Helen have given me loads of free advice. I have written one children's book but it's on the back burner. I know some of you do write for children so you might be interested in the following - with permission to forward email from Helen:

We're delighted to have Pat White, Catherine Pelligrino and Claire Wilson to talk at our one-day Beginners' Picture Book Workshop, April 23rd, London. This will give our authors an overview of an established agent, a new agent setting up a list - so on the lookout for new talent! - and a reader of the slush pile/assistant. If you would like to sign up for this workshop you have only three days to catch the 10% early booking discount. Please call or email for a programme.

Best, Helen and Kathryn
