Going to GenCon

We're going to GenCon.
We're driving up tomorrow and will be in Indianapolis Wednesday through Sunday.
Valerie, Anson, Daya, and I, that is.
Alethea is spending the week with her don't-call-him-my-fiance and his family at their home in Florida.

Seminars I know I'm part of:
Friday
BattleTech: 12:00 - 2:00 PM
Saturday
Eclipse Phase: 12:00 - 1:00 PM
Shadowrun: 1:00 - 2:00 PM
CathulhuTech: 2:00 - 3:00 PM
(These are all role-playing and miniature games I write for.)

I also plan to be around for panels on Leviathans, Balance of Power, and Catalyst Game Labs' new line of family board games (though I'm not directly involved with those), but I do not yet know the dates and times.

During the rest of the convention I will be either in the Catalyst Game Labs booth (#720), schmoozing with various publishers, editors, and other writers, watching my daughter win at Naruto, or just wandering about with a dazed expression.

I will not have a signing booth on Author's Alley. None of my novels will be on sale (mostly because Roc no longer publishes them). I do have stories in two anthologies (Spells and Chrome for Shadowrun and The Corps for BattleTech) and I have stories and/or articles in three new source books for BattleTech and the new release of Master Rules IV for Shadowrun. The book I'm really looking forward to seeing in the flesh is the coffee-table-size BattleTech: 25 Years of Art & Fiction; pretty stoked about having a story included. All of these can be found at the Catalyst Game Labs booth.
