Time to celebrate one of our own.
Cally Taylor’s fantastic novel, Heaven can Wait, is flying off the shelves as I write. Hurrah!
For those of us still learning our craft, Cally has been a source of not only inspiration, but of practical help too. On the left you’ll find a widget set up by Cally and the brilliant Captain Black, with more information for anyone writing a short story or novel. Cally's blog is here.
Cally has is doing a blog tour where she explains how she wrote Heaven Can Wait, edited it and found a top class agent too.
Today, on my blog, she’ll be showing in detail, how she wrote her query letters. Please do pop over – you don’t have to be a Novel Racer – all welcome and I’ve even dusted for you.
P.S. If you are at the research stage of your book, Sheepish’s coffee post below and the replies to it, are enlightening.

Well done Fia, we've all been so busy helping Cally to do blog posts for her tour that no one, until now, has celebrated the fact on the best blog on the block, ours!
And well done Cal, proud of you mate x
Too right Cally's book is flying off the shelves, couldn't find a copy at Borders or Waterstone in Brighton yesterday. Heaven Can Wait is a book with wings.
Here here.
She's in Bangkok with me today... even though, uhm, actually I'm in the UK... but you know, let's pretend!
So proud of Cally!!!! Thanks for the post Fia and will drop over to yours :-)

This makes me proud to be a member * of this group. I'm also very proud to know Cally and to have watched her success from the side-lines.
Regarding the WRL gadget (thanks for the accolade, Fia), if anyone has more links to add then please feel free to drop me a line.
