Thought I'd pop by and introduce myself. I've been lurking around Novel Racers for the last couple of years, having not taken Lane's advice to join then. I thought I'd spend too much time reading the posts here, and that was a long list of blogs to get tempted into reading. Since that happened anyway...

I'm currently trying to make some sense of the first draft of my science fiction novel. It's set in the near future, with just a little twist on what is possible today. This is my second novel, the first needing more work than the idea warrants at the moment. I'm determined to get the current one kicked into shape over the next few months and submitted to agents. Having never submitted anything to anyone I think it's time I joined the ranks of the rejected. I'm beginning to feel like I'm missing out!

Thanks for having me, and I'm hoping that this will give the impetus to keep going with the eternal editing. (I've even re-started my rather dusty blog)
