Hi everyone!

I've been thinking about this for months now and I've decided its time for me to leave the Novel Racers.  I've loved being part of the group and feel honoured that I've been here from near enough the start.  The advice I've received and friendships I've made mean a lot and I'm pretty sure I would have given up writing by now if it hadn't been for the people I've met through this group.

However, lately I've felt out the loop and not part of the group. I feel the group isn't as close as it used to be which is a shame.  The Novel Racers doesn't seem so important to people as it did 'back in the day' and I don't know why that is, maybe people are too busy to comment/post here and that's completely understandable.   So I think I should maybe leave and let someone else take my place.

Thank you for everything and I promise to pop in from time to time.  And if there's ever a Novel Racers Meet arranged again, I'd love to be able to come.

I haven't given up writing.  I will continue to write and try to be published.  I still have my blog http://writing-to-reach-you-blog.blogspot.com/ so please keep in contact!

I know what you mean and I know I don't give blogging enough attention.

See you around elsewhere and good luck with everything you're doing. You're a busy lady.

Sorry to see you go but I'm sure you made the right decision for you. I look forward to hearing more about your OU and writing progress on your blog

Rebecca, I don't think you're out of the loop. I don't think there is a loop any more, to be honest. We had a brief spike of interest when you and others suggested a revamp, but now things have fizzled out again. It also feels like we're eking out the coffee breaks as a duty rather than a pleasure. That might just be my interpretation though.

In any case, I'm very sad to see you go and I wish you the best of luck with your writing and studying. No doubt I'll bump into you on a blog somewhere.

Captain B - That's exactly what I'm thinking and why I left.

It is a shame but people do seem to have lost interest - there wasn't a post at all last week!
