Reports from the Durham Literature Festival

Hi,

I was fortunate to attend two events as part of the recent Durham Literature Festival.

On Saturday Hilary Mantel read from and discussed Beyond Black, whilst on Monday evening A. S. Byatt was in conversation with Stuart Kelly. Both events were entertaining and illuminating ~ it was wonderful to hear such accomplished writers discussing their craft, and if you'd like to read more there will be reports of both events on my blog:

An Evening with Hilary Mantel is already posted, and I'm in the process of deciphering my scrawl from the Byatt event, so that should be up there in the next day or two.
