SPAM SCAM

Yesterday I received what I thought was an genuine invite from an editor to join a comunity. I joined, thinking he was trying to set up some sort of network among writers. Turns out it was a scam -- just following the invitation llink to find out it was in fact a dating site of some sort resulted in everyone on my g-mail list being sent an invite. This includes every professional contact I have -- not to mention those of you with whom I've corresponded. IF you receive anything from "Quetchup" delete without openning. And sorry for the spam.

Ack, Kevin. Sorry to hear about that. I think it would be a good idea for you to contact Writer Beware, and get the word out (http://www.sfwa.org/beware/). If you've never heard of them, they do a really good job of keeping writers from running into too much trouble, by staying on top of crap like this - with help from people who've been burned.
