Taking A Break

I have been thinking about this for a while now and I have decided to take a break from Novel Racers and let someone who is actually doing writing to take my place. I hope to still comment on Coffee Mornings and will make every effort to visit blogs and comment. My problem is that as I have just left the UK to move to US I am finding it really difficult at the moment to get anything done. We finally got cable/phone/internet sorted yesterday but as there is so much to do with sorting out a new life here, I am not sure when I will be able to start writing again. I do plan on doing some writing but I am not sure when that is likely to be. Don't you just hate it when life takes over?! As I am not allowed to work in the US I will eventually have time to start doing some work to my WIP but at the moment it is just not possible. I have been in the US for a week now and my son just started his first day at Elementary School this morning. I still have the joys of sorting out bank accounts and getting a State driving licence ahead of me.
I will still be on Facebook and Twitter. I also plan on doing a blog purely about what it is like to be an Expat in America. (My husband has a blog and it is proving very popular with friends and family back home and if I am honest I am a bit jealous!)
Hope you all have had a good week and have a fun weekend planned.

See i HATE it when people do this. Because i really want to stay part of this group but... I've not really been writing very much before NaNo started.

I don't think you need to step back Sarah, but if it's right for you, fair enough. Just do stay in touch, and I look forward to reading the ex pat blog too!

Good luck over there in America. I hopped the pond from America to live in England over 8 years ago and I'm sure adjusting takes some time either way around.

How many novel racers are there anyway? I know Cally Taylor is one of them! :)
