Adieu, but not goodbye

Much as I hate to leave such a lovely group, I'm afraid I must. Those of you who visit my blog would have noticed that I've cut back drastically on my own blogging over the past six months or so, and I'm cutting back on other online commitments in an effort to retrieve the writing focus which I seem to have misplaced somewhere along the way. I've enjoyed the two and half years that I've been a Novel Racer immensely, and have met some wonderful people whose path I might never have crossed otherwise. I'll continue to drop in on the coffee mornings now and then and to visit as many blogs as I can.

I wish all of you the very best on the writing journey. I've read some of your lovely books, and there are quite a few more on my wish list. I know I'll be adding more as time passes. Remember, anytime you decide to have a Novel Racers meet in the Caribbean, I'd be delighted to be your host. Let the photo above be your inspiration to make it happen!

I'm so sorry to see you leave Liane but I'll keep visiting you to check on your news. And hope that we will see you here from time to time.

And absolutely to the Caribbean Novel Racers meet!

All the best with your writing but I know it's not goodbye because I'll see you around.

Thank you, JJ. Yes, I'll be around. Once a Racer always a Racer, I believe!

Sorry you're going. The internet does seem to consume writing time like nothing else doesn't it?

Ooh, if we could just find a sponsor for a Caribbean meet up!

Sorry you're leaving, Liane.

A Novel Racer Meet in the Caribbean? Now that sounds like a great idea.

Word verification: untick!

Denise, the 'net is a joy, and it's a pain. Finding a sponsor for the Caribbean meet is the way to go as most of us writers can barely afford the fare to the next town, far less the next continent!

Word verif: bummity!

Debs, you'll definitely be seeing me around. Especially if that Caribbean meet comes off!

And good luck with the writing too :) xx

I'm so sorry you're going Liane but I know what you mean about retrieving focus. May your writing go from strength to strength. Take care.

Well, just because you move from one list to another doesn't mean you can't come back here and join in with us, even if it is less frequently.

I shall retaliate by going over to Novel Spaces from time to time.

A Caribbean meeting would be amazing. All I have to do now is win the lottery...

Thank you Liz, and all the best to you too. I will indeed pop back in from time to time.

Lane, I'll be around, I promise!

Flowerpot, thank you. Desperate times call for desperate measures! My focus has been shot all to pieces for some time now.

Cap'n, you and me both! The problem is, I never remember to buy the cursed tickets...

Sorry Liane, I've only just seen this - which is a measure of how behind I am too.

It's a shame to see you go, but I wish you every success with the writing and will continue to look out for you. Cx
